Run the Table

About Run the Table

Run the Table is a free football draft game. You spin for a random NFL team and decade, draft six players from real team seasons between 1960 and 2025, and then watch a 17-game season play out. The goal is simple: build a roster good enough to go 17-0.

How it works

  1. Spin. Each round gives you a team and an era, such as the Minnesota Vikings of the 1970s or the Kansas City Chiefs of the 2010s.
  2. Draft. Pick one player from that team and era. You fill six slots: QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX and DEF.
  3. Trust your football knowledge. Ratings are hidden while you draft, so you have to know who was great, not just who has the biggest number.
  4. Run the season. Your six ratings set your chance in each of 17 games. The season is rolled on our servers, so leaderboard results are fair.

More than a one-off game

About the data

The game uses 7,029 player seasons from real NFL teams. Player ratings are our own scores, built from each player's real season statistics, and they are a game mechanic, not an official ranking. Run the Table is an independent fan game. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the National Football League, any team, any players' association or any player. Names and statistics are used only to identify and describe historical teams, players and seasons.
