Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
The short version
- You can play without giving us your name, email address or password.
- We save your stats and game history against a random player ID so the Games work.
- Your display name and records appear on public leaderboards.
- If ads are switched on, our ad partner may use information about your device. We plan to show non-personalized ads only, and we ask before using ad cookies or identifiers where the law requires it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete your data.
1. Who we are
1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how L. Callaghan Holdings Inc. ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use Run the Table, Rafters 84-0, any other game we publish that links to this policy (each a "Game") and our websites.
1.2 We are a Canadian corporation based in Ontario. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1.3 We are responsible for the personal information under our control. Our Privacy Officer is Liam Callaghan, who you can reach at info@runthetable17-0.com.
2. What we collect
| Type | What it includes | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Player ID | A random ID created when you first open a Game | Created automatically |
| Sign-in details | Your email address, or the email Apple provides, only if you choose to link a sign-in method | You |
| Display name and content | The display name you choose, league names and challenges you create | You |
| Gameplay data | Rosters you draft, rerolls used, simulated results, records, streaks, achievements, your card collection, experience points and level, Daily Challenge results, head-to-head and friend challenges, leagues you join and rivals | Your play |
| Usage statistics | Anonymous events such as opening the Game, starting or finishing a game, which mode you played and whether you shared. They are tied to a random device ID that is kept separate from your display name, and we do not store your IP address with them | Your device |
| Device and technical data | IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, time zone, app version, error logs and timestamps | Your device, through our hosting providers |
| Data stored on your device | Game progress and settings saved in your browser or app, such as whether to show the how-to-play screen | Stored on your device |
| Advertising data (when ads are on) | Advertising identifiers, cookies or similar technologies, IP address, device information and how you interact with ads | Collected by our ad partner |
| Push notification token (if you opt in) | A token that lets us send notifications to your device | Your device |
| Messages | Your email address and anything you write when you contact us | You |
We do not ask for your real name, phone number, payment details, precise location or contacts. Please do not use your full real name as a display name.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- run the Games and save your progress, stats, achievements, card collection and level;
- show leaderboards and run leagues, head-to-head games and friend challenges;
- detect cheating, abuse and security problems, and enforce our Terms of Use;
- fix bugs and improve the Games, mostly using combined, non-identifying statistics such as the total number of games played and how many players come back;
- generate each season's result on our servers so leaderboards are fair;
- show and measure ads, when ads are switched on;
- send push notifications, if you turn them on;
- respond to your messages; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you and, where required, getting your consent.
4. Your consent
4.1 By using the Games, you consent to us using your information as described in this policy for the purposes needed to run the Games.
4.2 We ask for your express consent before sending push notifications and, where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), before ad cookies or similar identifiers are used. We do this through a consent message from our ad partner or your device's prompt. We do not plan to use personalized advertising.
4.3 You can withdraw consent at any time, as explained in section 9. Some features may not work without certain information. For example, leaderboards cannot work without gameplay data.
5. Advertising
5.1 The Games do not currently show ads. We plan to show ads through Google's advertising services for games once approved. Before we switch ads on, we will name our ad partner here, link to its privacy policy, and update this policy.
5.2 We will set ads to be non-personalized: they are not based on a profile of your interests. Even non-personalized ads can use cookies or device identifiers for purposes such as limiting how often you see an ad, measuring ads and preventing fraud. Where the law requires your consent for that, we will ask first. If you decline, you may see fewer ads or none.
5.3 You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings: "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iPhone, and "Delete advertising ID" on Android.
5.4 Because we do not use personalized advertising, ads are not tailored to any player's age or interests. The Games are not directed to children under 13 (see section 10).
6. Who we share it with
6.1 Other players. Your display name, records, leaderboard positions, league names, and the rosters and results in challenges you take part in can be seen by other players.
6.2 Service providers. We use these providers to run the Games. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
| Provider | What it does for us | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, anonymous profiles and server functions | Player ID, sign-in details, display names, gameplay data, IP address in logs |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, content delivery, security and cookie-free visit counts | IP address, device and browser data, request logs |
| Apple and Google (for our apps) | App distribution, sign-in and push notifications | As described in their own privacy policies |
6.3 Legal reasons. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our players, the public or us.
6.4 Business changes. If a Game is transferred to an affiliate, such as a subsidiary created to operate it, or to a buyer of our business, your information may be transferred with it. It will remain protected by this policy.
6.5 We do not sell your personal information.
7. Where your information is stored
7.1 Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. Our database is hosted in the United States (US East, N. Virginia).
7.2 Information stored in another country is subject to that country's laws and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.
8. How long we keep it and how we protect it
8.1 Retention. We keep your player ID, display name and gameplay data while your profile is active. If a profile has no activity for 24 months, we may delete it or make it anonymous. Anonymous usage statistics are kept for up to 14 months, and Delete my data gives your device a new random ID. Our providers' technical logs are usually kept for a short period, typically up to 90 days. We keep support messages for up to 2 years. We may keep combined statistics that do not identify anyone indefinitely.
8.2 Security. We protect your information with safeguards suited to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections, database access rules that limit each player to their own data, and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure.
8.3 Breaches. If a breach of security creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as PIPEDA requires.
9. Your choices and rights
9.1 You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your profile and gameplay data; or
- stop using your information for personalized ads or push notifications.
9.2 You can delete your profile and gameplay data yourself at any time with Delete my data under My Stats. For any other request, email info@runthetable17-0.com. Because profiles are anonymous, please include the player ID shown under My Stats in the Game, so we can find your data. We may ask for more information to confirm the profile is yours.
9.3 We will respond within 30 days, or tell you if we need more time as PIPEDA allows.
9.4 You can turn off push notifications and limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings, and change your ad choices in the Game's settings.
10. Children
The Games are general-audience sports games and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has given us information can contact us at info@runthetable17-0.com.
11. Concerns and complaints
11.1 If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please contact our Privacy Officer first at info@runthetable17-0.com.
11.2 If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. If you live in Quebec, you can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
11.3 If you live outside Canada, you may have additional rights under your local law, and we will respect them where they apply.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, if a change is significant, tell you in the Games before it takes effect.
